Seldom a day goes by that we don't see a beautiful rainbow!
We discovered a private indoor pool to swim at two days a week. Lisa has had a left shoulder problem and Ed, a right shoulder problem, so swimming has helped loosen up and stretch us!
We also were able to do FHE with the Buxton Family who had been away during the school break.
Lisa had a birthday last week so we went for a walk on the beach! It was a cloudy, windy day, but so beautiful! Lots of shells and very few people.
We spent a day in Dargaville this week. We attempted to visit five different people, but failed. No one was home! One of our visits took us some distance north and on the way back we stopped at Kai Iwi Lakes. They are natural lakes with no outlet or inlet, just water from the rain. We were the only people there, no other cars or people! They are beautiful and have a walking path around one of the lakes and another path that leads through cow pastures to the beach and a bluff on the west coast. We looked at photos online and apparently, it is quite busy in the summer!
With a diminishing Kiwi bird population, dogs are not allowed to run loose through the campgrounds.
Ed has been fighting a cold this week, so it has been pretty quiet for us. He has taken up knitting in the evenings!
We had District Council meeting with the Elders.
The Community Choir started back up this week. The school term has started up again, so we'll be back to multiple Family Home Evenings and also Maori class this coming week.

I watched this video this week and it sparked some self-evaluation. I have been taught and heard many times Christ's admonition to love one another, but in real life, how well am I doing? Sometimes out of fear or ignorance I fall short.
